This edition of the newsletter includes articles about Tips for Successful Parent-Teacher Conferences, Raising Mentally Strong Kids, Helping Young Children with Learning Disabilities, SAT and ACT Test Dates, Back to School, and Home Alone.

Attendance and Tardy Policy

1^st Tardy: Warning
2^nd Tardy: Warning
3^rd Tardy: Teacher contacts parents by note in folder, phone call, or email.
4^th Tardy: Assistant Principal calls parents.
5^th – 8^th Tardy: Office referral and meeing with Assistant Principal
9^th Tardy: Parents are invited to attend the Attendance Review Committee meeting.
Tardies start over every nine week period. If a student receives a discipline referral for tardies, their conduct letter grade will be an “N”.
